As Southern Angola aims to scale up their application of IRS, a targeted approach will allow for maximal impact. In collaboration with the Clinton Health Access Initiative, the MAP team is supporting the design of fine-scale risk maps for sparsely populated areas in Southern Angola. The team relies on spatial disaggregation models to break down district level case data into fine-scale pixel outputs. These granular modelled surfaces can support NMCP planning for IRS prioritization.
