Research Assistant Team: Global Malaria Epidemiology

Francesca joined the MAP team in April 2021 as a Research Assistant, following her passion for public health and epidemiology. Her role involves working with the Global Malaria Epidemiology team.

Francesca is currently completing her PhD in Health Sciences with a focus on Epidemiology and Biostatistics within the Department of Public Health at the University of Verona, Italy and the Children’s Lung Health team at Telethon Kids Institute. Her research project aimed to investigate the early-life predictors of lung function trajectories over the life span, using data from a large prospective cohort of pregnancy, childhood, adolescence, and adulthood carried out in Australia.
